  • The INTERSTATE 80 INTERCHANGE has been approved. If construction doesn't start in late 2012, it will begin, in earnest , early 2013.
  • CORRIDOR MASTER PLAN: Has been approved by the City of Waukee.  The plan shows various zoning uses, key streets, and gives a timetable for improvements.
  • $6,250,000 for ROAD CONSTRUCTION:  Through a DOT  RISE Grant and a $950,000 appropriation from the Federal Government these funds are available and must be spent between Ashworth Road to the south and University Avenue to the north.
